Ali Jabbar is a painter, a sculptor and a graphic designer. He was born in Iraq in 1963, has lived in Denmark from 1992 to 2008 and has a Danish citizenship . Now he lives and works in London. He studied at the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad (1982-1987), at the Academy of Fine Arts in Baghdad (1987-1990) and the Graphic Design School in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Amar Dawod is an Iraqi painter, sculptor and graphic artist residing in Sweden. He holds degrees from the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad (1977,) Kostakademin in Poland (1987,) and Animations Hus in Sweden (1991.) He has exhibited work throughout Europe and in the United States.

The son of prominent Iraqi ceramicist Saad Shaker, Delair Shaker was exposed to the arts from a young age. He left Baghdad during the 1990s to live in Amman, where he taught art and later became head of the art department at the Ahliyyah School for Girls. In 2005, he moved to Phoenix, Arizona.
Born in Baghdad in 1939, Dia Azzawi started his artistic career in 1964, after graduating from the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad and completing a degree in archaeology from Baghdad University in 1962.

In 1996, he received a diploma in New Media from Ryerson University, Toronto and, in 1998, a further diploma in film producing from HIF Film Academy, Los Angeles. He also holds an MA in fine art from the University of Guelph, Ontario (1999). Obaidi is particularly interested in exploring the conceptual side of art, and has noted that the concept behind his work often determines his choice of media.

In the early-90s he began to travel the world painting in remote countries like Sierra Leone, Tunisia, Senegal, and many western destinations. In 1995, Mr. D was invited to participate in his first contemporary art group show in Paris.
Born in Oklahoma City, Shelbi-Nicole spent a short time there before moving to Houston, TX. Aware from a very early age that painting and drawing were essential to her identity, she continually explored different shapes and forms of abstract art through her formative years.
Soody is an Iranian/American artist based in Houston. Her work primarily deals with the paradoxes and contradictions inherent in living between two cultures. In many of her series, she has explored the notion of identity and what it means to participate in two cultures from both an outsider’s and an insider’s perspective. Through different series, she investigates this concept as it applies to Moslem youth in Iran and US and their emerging concept of self-identity specifically how they accommodate modernity and the indulgences and exploration specific to youth within a very traditional society.
